"If anyone
out there is in two minds about booking Junction 2, take
it from me - book them!" - There are certain
things that can make or break an occasion and Junction 2
certainly did not disappoint to make it for us on our
special day! Absolutely superb! People have not stopped
talking about what a great band you are! If anyone out
there is in two minds about booking Junction 2, take it
from me - book them We just want to say thank you to
each and everyone of you, the music and entertainment
was incredible better than we could have hoped for.

"I doubt there is a better function band out there" -
We went to see
Junction 2 do one of their public appearances and knew
immediately we wanted them for our wedding. They have a
fantastic repertoire to appeal to all ages and are all
obviously excellent musicians. The dance floor was
packed all night, and the band were very flexible to fit
in with our requirements and timings. I doubt there is a
better function band out there; our guests could not
believe how good you guys were.
"We will not

Diana Ross, Smokey Robinson, Stevie Wonder and The
Temptations had remained with the label since its early
days, although all except Wonder recorded for other
labels for several years. Ross left Motown for RCA from
1981 to 1988, but returned in 1989 and stayed until
2002. Robinson left the label in the late 1990s, and the
Temptations left a second time in 2004. Wonder is today
the only artist from Motown's early period still on the
label.
In 2005, Massenburg was replaced by Sylvia Rhone, former
CEO of Elektra Records. Motown was merged with Universal
Records to create the Universal Motown and placed under
the newly created umbrella division of Universal Motown
Republic Group which oversees the releases and catalogs
for Motown, Universal, Blackground, Republic, Cash
Money, Casablanca, and other labels. |
