Submitted by Jon Our very own Mr. Motown recently paid a much anticipated visit to the legendary birth place of "The Motown Sound" in Detroit, Michigan, U.S.A. He also took the time to visit the Stax Museum in Memphis, Tennessee. Below are a few photos from his trip. Thursda 27th March - 'Updated Publicity Shots - Coming Soon' Submitted by Colin Last week the band visited the photo studio to have some new publicity shots taken. Once they've been finalised they'll be up on the site. From what we've seen so far, the new shots look fantastic and should really do the band justice. So watch this space for a Junction 2 image refresh. |

Friday 8th February - 'Special Guest Vocalist - Joe Greaves' Submitted by Jon PJ has had to take a few weeks off due to an unfortunate case of eye strain, we suspect as a result of Denny's recent choice of shirts, but we're nevertheless pleased to announce, after a bit of wangling, the almighty soul sensation Joe Greaves is to stand in for PJ whilst he's recovering. As well as being the only professional soul singer to denounce Booker T's classic 'Green Onions', simply because it had no vocals, Joe is renowned for his energetic style and soaring vocal range, brought to the fore back in '96 after performing live on BBC2 for Jools Holland with his band at the time, 'Fleiy'. A brilliant and exciting outfit that can only be described as a 'Commitments' sound on original material. Joe will be performing with us at the 'Old Dial' this Saturday (9th Feb) and at 'Bossa Nova' next week (15th Feb). |

Monday 19th November - 'Bossa Nova - 23rd November' Submitted by Colin (Mirrored from Latest News) The band return to the Bossa Nova club in Worcester this Friday (23rd) to raise the roof once again with a dance filled evening of classic Soul, Blues and Motown. If you're new to the venue (and if you are, where have you been?) directions can be found in the Gig Guide. So join 'Junction 2' this Friday night for the very best of Soul, Blues and Motown! Don't miss it! |

Friday 16th February - 'Live At
Harrods' Submitted by Jon The band had the pleasure of playing at Harrods down in London this week to help demonstrate and promote the new BOSE L1 sound system which the band has just started using. The band performed as a 6-piece instead of the usual 10 but still delivered a stunning showcase performance for the crowd, shoppers and (during the sound check) Mr Al-Fayed himself. Check out the below snaps taken on the day, apologies for the poor quality. View Photo: Live At Harrods - Anne De La Croix - Entertaining The Crowd - 6/10 - Bose & The Red Keyboard |

Thursday 28th December - 'Live At
The Hen House' Submitted by Jon I thought I would put together some photo and video content from one of our recent Christmas gigs for your viewing pleasure. The video footage was taken from the opening of 'Car Wash' and it was actually the first time we had ever performed it. It's a great tune!

Monday 4th December - 'Christmas Treat' Submitted by Jon Over the last few weeks the band have been working hard to make sure we've got something very special prepared for our December gigs. We've added 5 classic Christmas numbers to our sets, 'Merry Christmas' originally by Slade, 'I Wish It Could Be Christmas' by Wizzard, 'All I Want For Christmas' by Mariah Carey, 'Rocking Around The Christmas Tree' by Brenda Lee and a special arrangement of 'White Christmas' by Bing Crosby. They will simply blow your socks off! You will not hear better live versions of these classic songs anywhere in the UK this Christmas. So make sure you get on down to one of our Christmas gigs or you'll miss out on a right Christmas treat. |

Sunday 13th August - 'Demo CD' Submitted by Jon Choosing 8 songs for our Demo CD out of over 30 was no easy process, but we think we have now decided on what tracks we will lay down when we go into the studio at the start of next month. They are as follows: Sweet Soul Music All of those are obviously subject to change. |
