"If you do one thing in this lifetime, book this
band" - If you do one thing in this lifetime,
book this band, if you have no money, take to violent
crime, because if you want to have a party then you can
A) put a DJ on and finger dance or B ) book this band
and have an amazing time and get everyone dancing.
Junction 2 played at my wedding this year and made the
night, well actually my wife did later on but up until
that point they were No1 in my book. Book them book them
book them.
"You really
made our wedding day" - Just a small email to
say an absolutely massive thank you for playing such
wonderful sets at our wedding yesterday. We thought you
were amazing - and so many of our guests have commented
about how great they thought you were too. I think the
crowded dance floor and wolf whistles throughout said it
all! You really made our wedding day. Many thanks again,
and best of best wishes. Liz and Paul (Mr and Mrs
Taylor!) xx
"If anyone
out there is in two minds about booking Junction 2, take
it from me - book them!" - There are certain
things that can make or break an occasion and Junction 2
certainly did not disappoint to make it for us on our
special day! Absolutely superb! People have not stopped
talking about what a great band you are! If anyone out
there is in two minds about booking Junction 2, take it
from me - book them We just want to say thank you to
each and everyone of you, the music and entertainment
was incredible better than we could have hoped for.
Thank you once again! Love Lee and Ali Parker (14th
August 2009)
"I was very
proud to have you play at my party" - The only
feedback I have for you guys is 'Brilliant !!' Everybody
loved you, so I was very proud to have you play at my
party. We had such a good night and every time I speak
to anyone they all ask where I found you! My daughter
Sophie was so impressed with you all that she is now
busy trying to convince her music friends to form a band
just like you! So now you have two more groupies....a 40
year old and a 10 year old! As you probably guessed on
the night, my whole family love music (and dancing!) so
it was really important to me to have the right band to
make it a special occasion and you did just that. All my
friends came expecting a great music night and you
certainly delivered! They all thought you were fantastic
so please pass on a very big thank you to everyone for
me. Rachel Wilson.
In the 1920s, the blues became a major element of
African American and American popular music, reaching
white audiences via Handy's arrangements and the classic
female blues performers. The blues evolved from informal
performances in bars to entertainment in theaters. Blues
performances were organized by the Theater Owners
Bookers Association in nightclubs such as the Cotton
Club and juke joints such as the bars along Beale Street
in Memphis. Several record companies, such as the
American Record Corporation, Okeh Records, and Paramount
Records, began to record African American music. |
