"You got everyone in the party mood" - I
just wanted to write to you guys and tell you how
marvellous you were at Wroxall Abbey for Gareth and
Kerry's wedding last Saturday. When I first saw your
promo videos on the website I just knew you were going
to be great and you didn't disappoint. From first song
to last, you got everyone in the party mood and you all
sung and played beautifully. If anyone ever asks me to
recommend a band for a function, Junction 2 would be top
of my list by a country mile!
"If you do one thing in this lifetime, book this
band" - If you do one thing in this lifetime,
book this band, if you have no money, take to violent
crime, because if you want to have a party then you can
A) put a DJ on and finger dance or B ) book this band
and have an amazing time and get everyone dancing.
Junction 2 played at my wedding this year and made the
night, well actually my wife did later on but up until
that point they were No1 in my book. Book them book them
book them.
"I couldn't
get onto the dance floor at times as it was so packed!!"
- Thank you so much for everything that you and
the band did on the wedding day. You were all absolutely
fantastic and I have to say, I couldn't get onto the
dance floor at times as it was so packed!! Everyone
commented on how great the band was and I know for a
fact another couple that are getting married have
enquired about you. We went to a wedding at Mallory a
few months ago and there were many of the same guests so
I was desperate for our wedding to be different, having
you there made sure of that. Anyway, I could go on and
on. Thank you so much for helping to make our day so
special!! Love, Adam and Krystal (Mr and Mrs Irwin!!)
"You really
made our wedding day" - Just a small email to
say an absolutely massive thank you for playing such
wonderful sets at our wedding yesterday. We thought you
were amazing - and so many of our guests have commented
about how great they thought you were too. I think the
crowded dance floor and wolf whistles throughout said it
all! You really made our wedding day. Many thanks again,
and best of best wishes. Liz and Paul (Mr and Mrs
Taylor!) xxok you
again and would love you to be at every wedding we go
to.
"I've spent
the last two days apologizing to a lot of my guests,
cause once the band came on, I never left the dance
floor." - Booked the band for a joint 50/18th
birthday party & all my daughters friends have not
stopped talking about what a great night they all had.
The band did a couple of sets and once the first note
was played the dance floor just filled up. I've spent
the last two days apologizing to a lot of my guests,
cause once the band came on, I never left the dance
floor. If your in to live soul music and I mean
LIVE !!!!! this is the band for you. The whole band just
love to entertain and made all our guests feel very
special. Book them now before everybody else finds out
about them, I guarantee you won't be disappointed.
Thanks again for making our birthday party so special.

The lively Memphis blues style, which developed in the
1920s and 1930s near Memphis, Tennessee, was influenced
by jug bands such as the Memphis Jug Band or the Gus
Cannon's Jug Stompers. Performers such as Frank Stokes,
Sleepy John Estes, Robert Wilkins, Joe McCoy and Memphis
Minnie used a variety of unusual instruments such as
washboard, fiddle, kazoo or mandolin. Memphis Minnie was
famous for her virtuoso guitar style. Pianist Memphis
Slim began his career in Memphis, but his distinct style
was smoother and had some swing elements. Many blues
musicians based in Memphis moved to Chicago in the late
1930s or early 1940s and became part of the urban blues
movement, which blended country music and electric
blues. |
