"If you do one thing in this lifetime, book this
band" - If you do one thing in this lifetime,
book this band, if you have no money, take to violent
crime, because if you want to have a party then you can
A) put a DJ on and finger dance or B ) book this band
and have an amazing time and get everyone dancing.
Junction 2 played at my wedding this year and made the
night, well actually my wife did later on but up until
that point they were No1 in my book. Book them book them
book them.
"You really
made our wedding day" - Just a small email to
say an absolutely massive thank you for playing such
wonderful sets at our wedding yesterday. We thought you
were amazing - and so many of our guests have commented
about how great they thought you were too. I think the
crowded dance floor and wolf whistles throughout said it
all! You really made our wedding day. Many thanks again,
and best of best wishes. Liz and Paul (Mr and Mrs
Taylor!) xx
"Our friends haven’t stopped texting and ringing saying
how much they enjoyed the day" -
I would just like to say a great big thank you for your
contribution to making our wedding day so fantastic and
making the evening party so enjoyable!! I have obviously
read the testimonials on your website and seen your
videos and therefore was expecting a great evening’s
entertainment, however what you gave us totally
surpassed all our expectations! Our friends haven’t
stopped texting and ringing us saying how much they
enjoyed the day, especially commenting on how fantastic
the band were!! So once again thank you all so much, and
if we ever are throwing a large party again, I will
definitely be calling you, and would not hesitate to
recommend you to anybody else. Thank you. Jill & Harry.
"Everyone had a lot of fun, and the band were a huge
success."
-
Just wanted to say a big thank you for helping to make
our bash. Everyone had a lot of fun, and the band were a
huge success. The variety of music you guys played
suited the differing age ranges and tastes among us, and
everyone thoroughly enjoyed the entertainment. Thanks
again, we wish you success in the future, and would love
to hear you play at any other events we organize, Best
wishes. James & Terry.
"Brilliant!
... The mix of music was spot on" - Brilliant!
The band played at our wedding reception on August 2nd
and they were amazing, I lost count of how many people
said how good they were. The mix of music was spot
on - it must have been because the dance floor was full
for the entire set! Thanks again, guys. Love Sarah
and Edd xx
"I seriously cannot recommend these guys enough. They
will make your
night fantastic!" -
They are approachable, polite, accommodating with our requests
prior to the wedding, even singing our rewritten version
of our first dance. All of our guests commented on what
a great set they played and there wasn’t anyone that
resisted the temptation to hit the dance floor. A
massive thank you to each band member. I seriously
cannot recommend these guys enough. They will make your
night fantastic!
"The dance floor was packed all evening and everyone was
dancing from the first song" -
The band were absolutely great, we were so, so pleased
- beyond our expectations and everyone there of all ages
has commented how entertaining and fun the music and
performance was. The song choice was a great mix with
some current and some older stuff. The band helped with
providing a great atmosphere and did exactly as they
were asked with a really great attitude. Know a couple
of guests have already recommended you to other people
so that is enough evidence for me! The dance floor was
packed all evening and everyone was dancing from the
first song. Beyond that all our dealings with you were
really helpful, professional and you took the stress out
of wedding planning. Would not hesitate to book you
again and would love you to be at every wedding we go
to.
Blues legend B.B. King with his guitar, "Lucille".Blues
performers such as John Lee Hooker and Muddy Waters
continued to perform to enthusiastic audiences,
inspiring new artists steeped in traditional blues, such
as New York–born Taj Mahal. John Lee Hooker blended his
blues style with rock elements and playing with younger
white musicians, creating a musical style that can be
heard on the 1971 album Endless Boogie. B. B. King's
virtuoso guitar technique earned him the eponymous title
"king of the blues". In contrast to the Chicago style,
King's band used strong brass support from a saxophone,
trumpet, and trombone, instead of using slide guitar or
harp. Tennessee-born Bobby "Blue" Bland, like B. B.
King, also straddled the blues and R&B genres. During
this period, Freddie King and Albert King often played
with rock and soul musicians (Eric Clapton, Booker T &
the MGs)and had a major influence on those styles of
music. |
