"If you do one thing in this lifetime, book this
band" - If you do one thing in this lifetime,
book this band, if you have no money, take to violent
crime, because if you want to have a party then you can
A) put a DJ on and finger dance or B ) book this band
and have an amazing time and get everyone dancing.
Junction 2 played at my wedding this year and made the
night, well actually my wife did later on but up until
that point they were No1 in my book. Book them book them
book them.
"Every single person was up and dancing, even
parents and grandparents, which you never normally see"
- My husband and I were thrilled with your
performance at our wedding at Westmead Hotel on 7th
August. We really thought that it made the night and
capped everything off with a bang. All our friends and
family thought you were fantastic too. I remember
looking around me and every single person was up and
dancing, even parents and grandparents, which you never
normally see. Normally most people are sitting down or
standing at the bar with just a few girls dancing but
that definitely was not the case. We thought that you
really created the perfect party atmosphere that
everyone could enjoy. Thank you very much once again -

"Brilliant!
... The mix of music was spot on" - Brilliant!
The band played at our wedding reception on August 2nd
and they were amazing, I lost count of how many people
said how good they were. The mix of music was spot
on - it must have been because the dance floor was full
for the entire set! Thanks again, guys. Love Sarah
and Edd xx
"I seriously cannot recommend these guys enough. They
will make your
night fantastic!" -
They are approachable, polite, accommodating with our requests
prior to the wedding, even singing our rewritten version
of our first dance. All of our guests commented on what
a great set they played and there wasn’t anyone that
resisted the temptation to hit the dance floor. A
massive thank you to each band member. I seriously
cannot recommend these guys enough. They will make your
night fantastic!
The music of the Civil Rightsand Free Speech movements
in the US prompted a resurgence of interest in American
roots music and early African American music. As well as
Jimmi Bass Music festivals such as the Newport Folk
Festivalbrought traditional blues to a new audience,
which helped to revive interest in prewar acoustic blues
and performers such as Son House, Mississippi John Hurt,
Skip James, and Reverend Gary Davis. Many compilations of
classic prewar blues were republished by the Yazoo
Records. J. B. Lenoir from the Chicago blues movement in
the 1950s recorded several LPs using acoustic guitar,
sometimes accompanied by Willie Dixon on the acoustic
bass or drums. His songs, originally distributed in
Europe only, commented on political issues such as
racism or Vietnam War issues, which was unusual for this
period. His Alabama Blues recording had a song that
