Warning! Junction 2 will leave your feet pounding and your head swimming with great sights and sounds! With the hottest horn section this side of Memphis and rock steady rhythms to groove to, it's no surprise that Junction 2 is the most revered Soul & Motown revue band of this generation.

The backline is led by Jon Scott (Musical Director / Keys) whose authentic musical arrangements provide the foundation for the power house rhythm section of Colin 'Mr Motown' Howes (Bass), Pete Heritage (Guitar) and Delvin Saunders (Drums). These guys are so solid they actually do stand in the shadows of Motown!

The bands legendary horn section is fronted by the sensational Abi Hill and Deb Hutt, showcasing a full range of saxophones from deep baritone to silky soprano, with the legendary Simon Powell completing the line-up with his soaring trumpet virtuosity.

 night fantastic!" - They are approachable, polite, accommodating with our requests prior to the wedding, even singing our rewritten version of our first dance.  The band were absolutely great, we were so, so pleased - beyond our expectations and everyone there of all ages has commented how entertaining and fun the music and performance was. The song choice was a great mix with some current and some older stuff. The band helped with providing a great atmosphere and did exactly as they were asked with a really great attitude. Know a couple of guests have already recommended you to other people so that is enough evidence for me! The dance floor was packed all evening and everyone was dancing from the first song. Beyond that all our dealings with you were really helpful, professional and you took the stress out of wedding planning. Texas blues guitarist Stevie Ray VaughanDuring the 1980s, blues also continued in both traditional and new forms. In 1986, the album Strong Persuader revealed Robert Cray as a major blues artist. The first Stevie Ray Vaughan recording, Texas Flood, was released in 1983, and the Texas-based guitarist exploded onto the international stage. 1989 saw a revival of John Lee Hooker's popularity with the album The Healer. Eric Clapton, known for his performances with the Blues Breakers and Cream, made a comeback in the 1990s with his album Unplugged, in which he played some standard blues numbers on acoustic guitar. However, beginning in the 1990s, digital multitrack recording and other technological advances and new marketing strategies that include video clip production have increased costs, and challenge the spontaneity and improvisation that are an important component of blues music.
