Welcome to Junction 2’s band website.

Junction 2 is a new band in the West Midlands with classic Soul roots played with a modern sound.

Band members come from all walks of life and cover a 40 year age range. A huge range of experience and musical talent is represented in Junction 2!

Lead vocalist PJ Sangster, perfectly at home in a wide variety of musical styles, has a voice with such depth and clarity, it will take you all the way back to 60's!

Abi (Alto/Baritone Sax), Simon (Trumpet) and Hannah (Tenor Sax) make up the bands horn section. Abi sparkles with a pure classical tone and some feisty jazz solos, Simon can really blast out those high notes, and Hannah adds the finish with her lusciously smooth bottom end.

The backline is led by Jon (Musical Director / Keys) who lives and breathes music, Denny - born in the USA - (Drums), Colin (Bass) and Pete (Guitar) provide a powerhouse rhythm section so solid they actually do stand in the shadows of Motown.

The main repertoire ranges from classic Soul and Motown from the 60's and 70's to modern Soul & Blues incarnations from the 80's, 90's and today, like The Commitments and The Blues Brothers. Set lists can be adjusted to suit your event, whether it is a wedding, party, corporate bash or Festival.

Junction 2 is fully equipped with top class PA gear and can travel anywhere in the Midlands to play for you.
