"The dance floor was packed all evening and everyone was
dancing from the first song" -
The band were absolutely great, we were so, so pleased
- beyond our expectations and everyone there of all ages
has commented how entertaining and fun the music and
performance was. The song choice was a great mix with
some current and some older stuff. The band helped with
providing a great atmosphere and did exactly as they
were asked with a really great attitude. Know a couple
of guests have already recommended you to other people
so that is enough evidence for me! The dance floor was
packed all evening and everyone was dancing from the
first song. Beyond that all our dealings with you were
really helpful, professional and you took the stress out
of wedding planning. Would not hesitate to book you
again and would love you to be at every wedding we go
to.
"I couldn't
get onto the dance floor at times as it was so packed!!"
- Thank you so much for everything that you and
the band did on the wedding day. You were all absolutely
fantastic and I have to say, I couldn't get onto the
dance floor at times as it was so packed!! Everyone
commented on how great the band was and I know for a
fact another couple that are getting married have
enquired about you. We went to a wedding at Mallory a
few months ago and there were many of the same guests so
I was desperate for our wedding to be different, having
you there made sure of that. Anyway, I could go on and
on. Thank you so much for helping to make our day so
special!! Love, Adam and Krystal (Mr and Mrs Irwin!!)
"If anyone
out there is in two minds about booking Junction 2, take
it from me - book them!" - There are certain
things that can make or break an occasion and Junction 2
certainly did not disappoint to make it for us on our
special day! Absolutely superb! People have not stopped
talking about what a great band you are! If anyone out
there is in two minds about booking Junction 2, take it
from me - book them We just want to say thank you to
each and everyone of you, the music and entertainment
was incredible better than we could have hoped for.
Thank you once again! Love Lee and Ali Parker (14th
August 2009)
"You're one
of the coolest live bands we've seen in a long while."

discover you guys were performing, you're one of the

Artist development was a major part of Motown's
operations. The acts on the Motown label were
fastidiously groomed, dressed and choreographed for live
performances. Motown artists were advised that their
breakthrough into the white popular music market made
them ambassadors for other African American artists
seeking broad market acceptance, and that they should
think, act, walk and talk like royalty, so as to alter
the less-than-dignified image commonly held by white
Americans in that era of black musicians. Given that
many of the talented young artists had been raised in
housing projects and were short on social and dress
skills, this Motown department was not only necessary,
it created an elegant style of presentation long
associated with the label. The artist development
department specialized primarily in working with
younger, less experienced acts; experienced performers
such as Jr. Walker and Marvin Gaye were exempted from
artist development classes. |
