"You
accommodated our schedule, it took a weight of our
minds" - Thanks to the band for making our
reception so special. The music was fantastic! We also
really appreciated how you accommodated our schedule, it
took a weight of our minds in the run up to the big day!
Best wishes, Michael & Helen.
"They were
perfect for our special occasion" - This great
band played at our wedding recently and we cannot praise
them enough. They played two great sets which got
everyone, particularly me the groom, up dancing and
singing along to some great tunes. They were perfect for
our special occasion and we hope to go to one of their
own gigs in the very near future. Book them for your own
celebration and I guarantee you will not be
disappointed. Thanks Jon and fellow band members for
making our special day that extra bit special.

Later examples of soul music include recordings by The
Staple Singers (such as I'll Take You There), and Al
Green's 1970s recordings, done at Willie Mitchell's'
Royal Recording in Memphis. Mitchell's Hi Records
continued the Stax tradition in that decade, releasing
many hits by Green, Ann Peebles, Otis Clay, O.V. Wright
and Syl Johnson. Bobby Womack, who recorded with Chips
Moman in the late 1960s, continued to produce soul
recordings in the 1970s and 1980s. |
