"I couldn't
get onto the dance floor at times as it was so packed!!"
- Thank you so much for everything that you and
the band did on the wedding day. You were all absolutely
fantastic and I have to say, I couldn't get onto the
dance floor at times as it was so packed!! Everyone
commented on how great the band was and I know for a
fact another couple that are getting married have
enquired about you. We went to a wedding at Mallory a
few months ago and there were many of the same guests so
I was desperate for our wedding to be different, having
you there made sure of that. Anyway, I could go on and
on. Thank you so much for helping to make our day so
special!! Love, Adam and Krystal (Mr and Mrs Irwin!!)
Memphis soul is a shimmering, sultry style of soul music
produced in the 1960s and 1970s at Stax Records and Hi
Records in Memphis, Tennessee. It featured melancholic
and melodic horns, organ, bass, and drums, as heard in
recordings by Hi's Al Green and Stax's Booker T. & the
M.G.'s. The latter group also sometimes played in the
harder-edged Southern soul style.
